The Legal Stuff
Live Delivery Guarantee
We guarantee you will receive 100% live delivery of the total amount of poultry you paid for. We typically deliver extras to insure this guarantee. Extra chicks are NOT guaranteed in every order, especially in orders consisting of small amounts of birds. Because we deliver all of our birds ourselves, we know they are delivered alive and well, therefore we DO NOT refund or replace birds that die after delivery. We assume no liability of the continuing health of the poultry and/or the health of the humans and/or other poultry and/or other animals that may come in contact with poultry produced by our hatchery. We assume no liability of your poultry once you have accepted delivery of your order.
Sexing Of The Poultry
We offer a 90% sexing accuracy guarantee on all sexed poultry breeds. Any potential sexing errors for layer breeds must be reported to our hatchery within 12 weeks of the hatch date. Photo verification will be required, and each case will be reviewed individually to determine an appropriate resolution.
Refunds
All poultry are delivered in person and confirmed alive and healthy at the time of delivery. Once delivery has been completed, Bob’s Biddies Hatchery is no longer responsible for the birds, and no refunds or replacements will be issued for any reason after that point.
Payment for your order confirms your acceptance of this policy. Refunds are not available after delivery, and delivery fees are non-refundable.
Refunds may be available under certain circumstances as described in other policies.
Quality
Bob’s Biddies Hatchery does not guarantee any poultry to be show quality. Our breeding program focuses on strong egg and meat production while maintaining the integrity and characteristics of each breed. We carefully select our breeding stock and strive to breed as closely to the recognized standard as possible.
Because our breeder flocks are large and diverse, it is unlikely that customers will receive related birds. In addition, we occasionally hatch eggs from trusted partner farms to support breed variety and availability. This means chicks may come from different parent stock; however, we guarantee that you will receive the breed(s) you ordered.
All breeds are hatched in separate hatching baskets to maintain accuracy. In the rare event that a customer receives the wrong breed(s), we will gladly offer a replacement in the form of an account credit (coupon code) for use on a future order, or the customer may visit the farm to pick up replacement chicks. Please note that replacements cannot be delivered unless a new delivery hub fee is applied.
Hatch Dates & Delivery Schedule Policy
Everyone’s heard the saying, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” In our business, we not only have to count our chickens before they hatch — we also have to count our eggs before they’re even laid!
While we’re very good at what we do and work hard to fulfill every order on time, it’s impossible to know the exact hatch count until hatch day. Hatch rates can vary slightly from week to week, which may occasionally affect order availability or timing.
Our chicks are hatched and ready for delivery each week according to our Delivery Hub Program:
Tuesdays: Live Oak, FL & Wildwood, FL
Wednesdays: Perry, GA, Columbus, GA & Bainbridge, GA
Thursdays: McDonough, GA & Augusta, GA
Delivery dates are based on hatch schedules and availability. In the rare event we are unable to fill your order for a given week, you will be notified by phone or email and given the option to reschedule your delivery for the next available hatch.

Order Cancellation Policy
If you’ve placed an order with us, it can typically be canceled up to one week before the scheduled hatch date. A cancellation fee of 20% or $20.00 (whichever is greater) will apply, and this amount will be deducted from the refund total.
We must receive at least one week’s notice prior to your scheduled hatch date for any cancellation to be eligible for a refund. This fee helps cover processing costs, labor, and other operational expenses.
If a cancellation request is received less than one week before the scheduled hatch date, a refund will not be issued. However, you may reschedule your order and delivery for a future hatch date at least three weeks out, unless notified that your birds may be available sooner.
Bob’s Biddies Hatchery reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion if necessary; in such cases, no cancellation fee will be applied and a full refund will be issued.
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used to place the order.
Order Change Policy
Changes to orders can be made at the discretion of the hatchery. Please Contact Us if you have questions.
Minimum Order Policy
A minimum order of 10 chicks per breed is required. This policy helps ensure the health, comfort, and overall survivability of the chicks during both transport and the brooding period.
Smaller quantities are available for farm pickup only. Please contact us directly to place your order and schedule a pickup appointment.
Pick-up Order Policy
We gladly accept pick-up orders, but please note that pickups are not available on hatch days.
Pick-up appointments are available on the following days:
Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
All pickups are by appointment only. We will contact you on the Monday of your hatch week to schedule a convenient pick-up time.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all contact information provided on their order is accurate. If we are unable to reach you to schedule your appointment, or if you miss your scheduled pickup, your order will be canceled in accordance with our Order Cancellation Policy.

We continually review and update our practices to ensure the best possible care for our poultry and service for our customers.
